H4 Achievements thank you 343i

Thank you for not making the achievements in a way so that it would conflict with MM in ways that could cause boosting and would ruin the experience for MM. Thank you for listening. And also how do you all feel about the achievements?

You should expect some in future Dlc that is being added.

hopefully they are made the same way so that they keep achievements like this. Also glad they didnt make any acievements map based lol hated those so much in Halo Reach

Well i hope all of you feel the same wa. I’m just super glad they did the achievements like this. i can understand some people’s dissappointments in feeling that there is not much challenge but at the cost of negatively impacting the matchmaking with boosters who will ruin it for the rest. I think this was a wonderful decision.

I still loved having an achievement pop up when I did cool things in multiplayer. I like campaign but I’m not going to grind through the same scenarios just to unlock stuff. I’m about multiplayer and I feel like the multiplayer side of the game got the shaft in regards to achievements.

I never noticed people boosting for achievements in multiplayer, to the degree where it affected me. If I knew of an achievement I will try for it but not go out of my way to boost it with friends or w.e. you guys are complaining about, but I’m far from an achievement -Yoink!-. I loved performing my first assassination and getting an achievement right after it. Made me get a lil happy in the pants. I’m going to miss that in H4.

Confirmed gravity hammer, there will be brutes, not that I had any doubt though.

i like them

I agree, it’s good to see that 343i has limited achievements mostly to the campaign and other single-player modes. The ones in multiplayer don’t require any sort of boosting, which is great for the enjoyment of others.

Just because you havent experienced it doesnt ignore the 100,000s of players that did and it got sooooo annoying. it caused other to rage quit or to get mad at the game or just stop playing etc. you are 1 person but trust me there where 100,000s of us those achievements in Halo Reach helped make the game miserable so this is good news. Congratz, no more achievement boosting MM! lol COD:MW started doing the same thing because it helps alot. one of the very few things MW does that i agree with.

I know now that with these achievfements im going to enjoy the Multiplayer alot more with less fear of boosters. I am a Halo fan i dont need achievements to get me to play and enjoy Matchmaking, quiet the opposite lol

Mass Effect 3 did multiplayer achievements correctly. They allow single player gamers to earn multiplayer achievements thru the single player campaign. More games should adopt this concept.

I love the achievements. They’re perfect.

I’m glad there aren’t a load of silly matchmaking ones coming with the game.

Very happy to see the achievements! The easy ones, customizing your spartan iv, are my favorite
I would like 343i to change “What a Poser!” to “STRIKE A POSE!”. It’s way catchier.

And “Find the RvB easter egg in Spartan Ops.”? Woohoo!

Not the rain down on your parade sorry but some achievements were kind of required MM to obtain like Defender and some achievements had problems in Single player that you sometimes for some people had to obtain in MM like Pyromaniac, Sky High, Overload Specialist. I know Overload Specialist i had to do in MM because for some reason they werent counting in SP.

But i understand that would work great but see some people that say they dont play for achievements but keep complaining that they need difficult Achievements in MM and then find themselves boosting it would complain if you made the achievement obtainable in either option. They wanna force everyone else to play their way. “I had to spend hours to get it so you have to too” Sorry those people don’t know it but they are Achievement Yoinks! but deny it. if they loved the game then achievements shouldnt even play a huge factor in a game. Back in the days of halo 1 and halo 2 there were no achievments you played MM and campaign for PPP (Pure pleasure of playing) but now some people feel some sort of entitlement which annoys the hell out of me. Achievments ruined games. They burn you out of all excitement and then you get old of the game quick. if you love a game you will still play it even when you have all the achievements done.

To me i think this seperates the people that buy games for achievements and those that really love halo. Hell i go back on to Homefront every now and then and i love the hell out of that game and i have all the achievements done. Devs should put quality in the game which makes people go back to it. not put less quality and just load it with difficult achievements to keep people playing. If you did a good job then people will keep playing. You ever heard of Dark Messiah? terrible game with overly rediculous achievements and no one hardly bought the game. i played the demo and felt like throwing my controller. thats how much it annoys me. to go after cheevos in that game would make me have an aneurysm.

Sorry for the long rant it doesnt pertain to you i got off track but i was just saying that ME3 had some diffulties and 1 achievement forced you to play MM
