H3 Throwback Should have H2 BR Starts

It’s already a classic playlist. Lets throw in the Halo 2 BR to make it even more classic. That and it would definitely make the gameplay more fluid.

Its Halo 3, not Halo 2 , BR has been modified to work like the H3 br for this playlist.

The BR never shaked like Michael J Fox back in Halo 3.

So with you on this. The current H5BR is garbage and has no place in the sandbox, let alone a classic playlist.

BR was more balanced before weapon balancing - H5’s multiplayer in a nutshell

NOOOOOOO! People like you should stay on MCC

The Halo 3 BR certainly did have a recoil effect. It may not have been as visibly noticeable as the Halo 5 BR, but it also included random horizontal spread which the Halo 5 and Halo 2 BRs don’t have (Thank God). Also, the Halo 3 BR had less aim assistance than the Classic, Anniversary, & Legendary (Guardians) Halo 2 BRs. The Halo 5 BR also has less aim assistance than the Classic, Anniversary, & Legendary Halo 2 BRs. The Halo 5 and Halo 2 BRs (Classic, Anniversary, & Legendary) operate via hitscan where as the Halo 3 BR operates via projectile, but that’s not going to change within the Halo 5 engine so between the Halo 5 and Halo 2 BRs the H5BR is the most accurate simulation of the Halo 3 BR; especially, when paired with the classic scope. I think they choose well for the playlist.

Slow movement speed combined with a BR that has better aim assist mechanics than the H5 BR. What could go wrong?

I love the twisted logic of this. Literally - not being facetious. But the serious guy in me says if you want to play Halo 2 then MCC, and if you want to play Halo 3 then Halo 3 or MCC. I’m really not understanding why anyone thinks that trying (and obviously failing) to contort Halo 5 into something that it isn’t and can never be is in any way a good idea.

Gave me a giggle there

H2BR has way too much magnetism for the H3 playlist. It would make any other weapons on the maps obsolete.

So it would make the Rocket Launcher, Sniper Rifle, Needler and Brute Plasma Rifle obsolete?

Pretty much. Do you know how easy it is to get kills with the H2 BR’s magnetism when all the players are moving at H3 speeds with no spartan abilities? You barely even have to aim to get a kill with that thing. Why pick up Rockets when you already have an equivalent gun with more ammo?

I don’t see how that’s funny personally at all, it’s sad. If you had someone in your family or knew someone who had it, you’d understand and wouldn’t make that comment. It’s a terrible disease.

Now this is funny and much more appropriate. I agrre, what could go wrong…
