Hello all! Curious to know if anyone has been experiencing regular disconnects in the H3 playlist mid-match? Over the last two days it’s happened quite a bit. If so, why would a certain playlist have this glitch while others don’t? Thanks for your answers in advance!
EDIT: I’ve tested my connection to see if there is a problem on my end and I’m as good as lightning.
EDIT 2: Does the player lose their stats/progress for a disconnected game or are they still recorded?
Just play Halo 3, it’s infinitely better in every single way.

Yep I’ve had significant issues trying to play the playlist. Players seem to be constantly getting kicked from fireteams.

I’ve been thinking about dusting off my old H3 disk and giving it a shot to see how well the BC is. I’ve sort of fallen victim to the 60fps and that’s really my only reason so far for not going back. I have a large 55’ tv and slower frame rates can be bothersome to look at in that size. Have you been using the BC version? If so, how is it?

I’m one of those people. I got some hate messages because people thought I was quitting. Sometimes I get booted right at the very beginning, sometimes later. I enjoy the playlist… I just don’t know if you can be banned from constant disconnects. Can you?
I’ve had one disconnect so far. Most of the issues for me is when I’m searching and it says there’s a problem with the server.

Yes, I’ve experienced that as well. Strange how it seems to be only this playlist that’s giving me issues.

Hmmm, I guess it’-Yoink!- or miss so far. I’m in Los Angeles, I wonder if location has anything to do with it. I want to enjoy the playlist but I get kicked from it so I go play another playlist for a few games because I don’t want the banhammer. I still don’t know if one can be banned for multiple disconnects.

I think you can get a temporary ban for multiple disconnects since the game can’t tell the difference between a disconnect and someone pulling the plug.

I figured as much and that’s the reason I go to another playlist if the disconnects happen within close proximity to one another. I guess that’s what I’ll have to do for now. Thanks for your response.

Unless you make a habit of quitting you should be fine.
