The last mappack have been out for years, and it would be a nice gesture towards the few remaining players to put them in the other playlists.
I am not saying that for instance mythic isn’t a great playlist, but could we perhaps get a 4 versus 4 in social with all maps (not all, but the maps with the appropriate size). Like a mythic playlists, but with more maps.
And another thing. Why is the map rotation so biased? Last time I played team slayer we played Snowbound half the time. It is a fine map, but there are other maps in the game too.

I’ve played heretic, longshore, sandbox variants, assembly, blackout and various other map pack maps online in other playlists.
What would really be a nice gesture is to give the map packs out for free. We are now three halo games later and each of the map packs is still 800MP. At this point why not give them away, it’s not like it’s a huge revenue generator for Microsoft.
Frankly, it’s more of a turnoff to playing it as anyone who deosn’t have every pack is restricted to essentially one playlist. If someone plays with a group and one person doesn’t have all the maps then you are playing social slayer. Either give them out for free or dont make them a requirement. The active population is small enough as is, why limit it further?
I like try and play once a week, but finding matches is harder and harder. Ultimately it will go the way of the dinosaurs, but why not give the loyal followers a little handout along the way?
I, like a lot of other people probably, have the ODST/H3 map disc so you get all the maps. Even making the maps free isn’t going to change this situation. I didn’t have too many problems getting DLC maps when I last played.
