So I recently sold ODST to a friend and I didn’t buy any map packs so I can only play a small amount of game modes in MM. Do I need all DLC to play other game modes or is the legendary map pack good for most like it use to be?
Pretty much do I have to buy all DLC to play BTB?

not sure, i was never into BTB but look at the DLC prices. i believe there are 3 plus the single cold storage map, cold storage is free by the way. if the price exceed like 10 bucks just go to gamestop and buy odst again because i saw it at my gamestop for 10 bucks preowned along side halo 3. a tear formed in my eye :’( such a great game, the best 360 game in my opinion only for 10 bucks. just seemed like yesterday i was standing in line at midnight.
Yea, I’ll prob have to re-buy it. SO sad this great games is aging. I’m gonna get the legendary pack this weekend using Bing rewards, so hopefully it works, if not buying ODST again.

You will need all the DLC to play the all DLC playlists, sadly the Legendary pack isn’t just enough, but all the DLCs for Halo 3 minus Mythic II are at a lower price.
