Josh holmes of 343i has confirmed in a interview with gamingbolt that guardian is indeed getting a makeover for halo 5 and being built to harness the new abilities of halo 5. Who is hyped!!!

Really starting to think 343 can’t make original maps that don’t feel like an old abandoned hospital with narrow corridors and small rooms.
Every map feels like lockout, just closed so you can’t fall off.
I would rather have them work on some non-forge BTB maps. Plus I think there was a lot of better symmetrical “arena” type maps than Guardian anyways honestly. But meh, more content is always good.

It was good for chaotic games of Multi-team KoTH or something, but it’s an overrated map and only works for slayer or oddball for teamplay. It might be ok though with the ability to make jumps more fluidly. They may even make it so you can jump up top from below.

Sounds great, as long as it’s designed so you’re not constantly falling to your death by accident

Hmm… is it gonna be a reimaged map or a forge created map? They would have to up scale it a lil since there is a much quicker pace.

What a -Yoink- remake it will be. It was great for SWAT, and 1v1s, but that’s about it.
