Like in all honesty I hate the sniper in Halo 2 anniversary the fire rate is really dumb they should at put a delay every time you fire that sniper. Like you have no chance to take cover if you get shot by the first bullet.
More like the H2A sniper is just too easy to use. Fun. but too easy
Meh if anything the H2 Sniper is too easy to use lol, and H4 snipers just needs to be removed.
Well its the same as the H2C sniper, which is the point I guess, to replicate H2C, so I doubt they will do any changes to it.
I haven’t really noticed the H2A sniper being that much better than any other game. Power weapons have always been strongest in H2C and a little less in H2A but still probably more than other games. I doubt we’ll see any kind of nerf to the formula.
H2A is designed to mimic H2C as closely as possible, minus the button glitches. The sniper fire rate in H2C was ridiculously fast and H2A matches that. So its working as intended, and personally i like it. Considering the purpose of H2A, its functioning perfectly. They just need to make the first shot from a BR actually count and it would be perfect…
It would be fine with a 34.1629683751920048375942564957477% fire reduction rate and less aim assist.

Dude, believe me when I say that they are not the same. The H2C sniper requires you to lead your shots at long distances and just in general feels a lot harder to use than the Anniversary sniper (the most noob-friendly sniper in the Collection). I think it has something to do with Halo 2 being projectile when it was first released but it was changed to hitscan in an update because XBL was just up and running, but it had some issues that made projectile just impractical online. But now Halo 2 is in the MCC on Xbox One and it can be played as it was originally intended. This would also explain why I and many others remember sniping being so much easier in Halo 2 than it is now, despite most of us having gotten much better since then. I’m not 100% certain about this, though, so please correct me if I got something wrong.
