Masterblaster skull removes the ability for checkpoints, which would be the only way to beat it on coop. Can’t get passed the first room, cleared it, went through the gate, instant death, restarted the mission. Did anyone at 343 even bother testing to see if you can actually beat H2A LASO? It sure doesn’t seem like any of the skulls were properly tested…

It is supposed to be impossible. It’s freaking LASO. You have to get lucky as mess.

Really? If this is true why are none of the others ones impossible? Halo CE LASO is a breeze compare to this, 3 is decently hard and same with 4.

Halo 2’s legendary was always brutal. Halo 4’s legendary felt more like Halo 2 Heroic to me, except for in a few key locations.
This doesn’t sound like you tried really hard, this is going to be possibly the hardest achievement to get in the game. keep trying, I bet you will do it someday if you don’t give up
Isn’t the description of legendary usually along the lines of “prepare to respawn, a lot!”… So why should LASO be any different? You wanted a challenge, apparently you got more than you could handle, try harder.
OP, May I recommend the Easy No Skulls On challenge. That seems more your speed.

Honestly, I wouldn’t even be bothering with LASO right now with all the reports of Campaign Achievements not functioning at 100%
Once I hear confirmation that these things can reliably be unlocked when completed I’ll be ready to torture my poor Spartan with the unrelenting fury that is Halo 2’s LASO. Not that I expect to survive the ordeal mind you, I hear some folks whisper of those who have attempted it and were driven mad from the experience!

Nah.
Id just like to get even 1 of these done for the nameplate. I may attempt all of them but thats just a lotta, lotta levels to learn and master. With all the games coming out this fall its just a mighty challenge to partake cause it will seriously require some hours to get them all complete.
