So, i am going to give some context on the issues i was having and still am having, when halo 2 anniversary dropped on PC, i was really happy and began to play it, i enjoyed it, almost everything felt spot on, and almost nothing seemed out of place. (other than a few minor issues such as slight differences in physics and timing of certain things)
one thing was causing issues (and became a major pain especially into the latter part of the game),pertains to the usage of any tank controls when using keyboard and mouse, and the best way i can describe it, would be loss of mouse capture and focus. meaning the mouse would show above the game content.(which seems to only happen outside of a 4:3 aspect ratio boundary area extending outward) and if i clicked ANY of the buttons on the mouse while it was acting up it would loose focus and also keyboard would also stop recognizing my inputs as well,this problem hit boiling point when i came across the flood (where you normally need your inputs to work),happening at such inconvenient times, often resulting in a multitude of needless deaths in single player campaign.
so here are the issues in a more clean form:

the game losses focus of mouse while in a tank style vehicle - the game drops control of your mouse and keyboard if you press a mouse button while the cursor is on screen (on another note, this problem doesn’t seem to occur on Xbox controllers)

i have also checked this with other keyboard’s and mouse’s,the result is the same
as far as i know this is the only part of the game i experienced this specific issue.
