I played co-op H2A last night with my buddy on Legendary and it seems like whenever one of us is dead, the game will revert to the last checkpoint. Is this normal for H2? Or is this a bug?
That’s what happens in legendary. That’s part of the reason it’s so hard. You both have to survive.
You most likely have the “Iron” skull on. Whenever you or your partner dies with the skull turned on, the mission is reverted to the last Checkpoint.
If you have this skull on while you are soloing the campaign, then the mission is completely restarted.
Hope this helps!!
Thats normal, when the game disconnects during games that is a bug however.
My brothers internet is pretty -Yoink- but we’ve never had problems with other games before hope they fix the co op as well.
@MaxDoggy: I’m pretty sure we didn’t have any skulls turned on.
@A Fat Peasant: That’s not the case with HCEA. If just one of us die, the other person need to get away from the enemies so the other person can respawn.
@Kil4Collingwood: So you’re saying that it’s a standard “feature” in H2A co-op?
However I did remember that there’s a few times I managed to respawn back without the game reset the checkpoint on us. Which is weird and why I ask here.
I just hope that this is a bug because it’s so damn frustrating to keep doing the same thing over and over again because we couldn’t kill that one enemy between us and the checkpoint.
Yeah if one dies you both go back to check point.
Hey I’d be happy if it were a glitch and it was supposed to work as it does in combat evolved and it got fixed though.
The constant disconnecting is whats driving me up the wall.

Ah crap. Now I have to rethink our slow strategy to pass those levels.
So far I don’t get any disconnection problem on H2A. HCEA on the other hands…
