One of the most exciting new features for season 8 was the ability to change weapon offsets. I love using centered crosshairs for every game, but the only problem is that Chief’s arm takes up too much screen space in H2 (my favorite Halo game). I tried playing with the settings bit to get it to look like CE or H3, but couldn’t find a sweet spot.
Would you mind sharing your weapon offset settings for H2?
lowered is how the original games were, try that, also find videos on youtube for the campaigns on the old xbox and 360 and use those as a guide, that’s what i’m doing.
you should end up with the guns taking up less screen space. i’ve been fiddling with halo 2 and it’s made a difference but i haven’t found the sweet spot yet…
best to have the youtube video open and pause on various weapons and have the mcc window open (if on pc) and resized to same size as the youtube video window so you can side by side it. 90 fov being a good place to start.

Thanks for your reply. To clarify, I know all games after and including H2 had lowered crosshairs. I like using the centered crosshair though. It looks fine on every game except H2 where it looks a bit off. So, I’m trying to make it look a bit better.
I have my FOV at 90 for all games, but thanks again for mentioning that. Tells me I’m on the right track for the overall look!
I have just the thing for you. Centered (more or less) guns that take very little space on the screen. Heavy weapons moved to the right edge because having them centered is whack.
