I am super keen on a H2 remake… What do you guys and girls think?
I really hope its not a Halo: Anniversary redo… cause I really did not like that game. Crappy remake i reckon.
MS said they have no plans set to do a remake and even if it was to happen your not gonna get the MP from the old Halo 2, it be the same thing as Halo CEA, a map pack fot he currnet Halo game. Their not gonna scrap Halo 4. Sorry but thats the truth

dude CEA sucked so much! waste of money… should have just made it an add-on for Reach or something…

Halo CEA was done because of what Halo CE started. Alot of players were expecting it to have its own multiplayer but it didnt get it, so even if Halo 2 did get a remake, their would be no seprate multiplayer, just a map pack like CEA. But MS said they had no plans for it, but whos to say their isnt another Halo gmae other than Halo 5 in the works.
If they do a remake it will only be for campaign like Halo CE anniversary. They won’t remake the multiplayer - they would probably just have map remakes and link it into the Halo 4 multiplayer like Halo CE anniversary linked into the Reach multiplayer.
I would definitely buy it if they did it

I really wish people would stop saying this. I’m not going to cry myself to death if a Halo 2 remake never happens(well I might) but MS saying they have no plans amounts to nothing. It’s like nobody ever said anything. Halo CE was in the rumor mill and denied like crazy for a long long time. Believe it or not companies flat out lie to avoid giving secrets out. I can’t tell you the amount of times a developer came out and said “No, were not showing that at E3” and then showed it anyway. It’s a way to keep secrets secretive.
I don’t care what anybody says. The idea of a Halo 2 remake is too profitable for Microsoft to completely avoid it.

Well they may still have plans and time can only tell, but your not gonna get a full Halo 2 remake, its gonna be a map pack, I dont see MS going with the thought to ignore Halo 4 and redo the MP for Halo 2. Thier gonna support what ever the currnt Halo game is.

I’ve honestly gotten over the idea of ever playing classic Halo 2 multiplayer ever again. I just want a Halo 2 campaign with awesome graphics. Why hasn’t the PC community done this yet with H2V? 0,o

They can do whatever they want with a H2 remake’s multiplayer as long as they bring back dual-wielding.

If they end up ever doing a Halo 2 remake it will probably only be campaign not Multiplayer which I’m sure most people would want.
Hey. You know they’ll probably do it around the fifteenth or twentieth Anniversary.
Halo 2 was my one of my favorite campaigns out of all the Halo games, an HD remake of it would be great.
Yeah it was a little disappointing when they charged a full $60 for CEA when it had half the content that Reach did. Even ODST had more content and that also charged full price. If Halo 2 is remade, it should be on the online store or sold as a disc for maximum 40 bucks. Unless somehow Halo 2 multiplayer and other features are added.

Where the hell did you get CEA for 60 bucks? you got ripped off it was available the day it came out for 40. But, Halo 2 remake is in the makes don’t listen to anyone that says it isn’t
