H2/H2A - Gravemind level broken

Hey y’all. I’ve noticed some serious issues with the campaign level “Gravemind” in Halo 2 on the MCC.

First off, when I try to play the level on co-op, both me and my co-op buddy get a disconnection error and the level does not load at all.

Secondly, this campaign level breaks completely if I quit the game anywhere during the level. In the normal Campaign, the entire game will crash when I try to load from the last checkpoint I reached and I have to start it again from the beginning. If I load the mission up in a Playlist after leaving half way through the mission, it gets skipped to the next level on the playlist.

I’m not sure if anybody else is experiencing this particular issue with “Gravemind” but this game breaking glitch forces people who want to play through the mission in one sitting which isn’t fair on people who only play games for a short amount of time during the day since it’s a very long campaign level.

Hopefully 343 should do something about this since this issue breaks the game.

Never experienced that particular issue on Gravemind, my advice is to avoid using the playlists and do the mission directly. The playlists have their own share of problems that don’t normally occur if you do the missions from the game menu. The playlists have been bugged since the game was launched, however this collection still has many problems related to the games campaign and online co-op since this game was launched. We still waiting on 343 to fix issues like de-synching, co-op campaign crashes, achievement bugs, and other issues related to the campaign, etc, since November and still no response or news of a patch to fix those issues.

It would appear the campaign related issues are a low priority for 343 based on their updates on upcoming/released monthly updates to the game, so don’t get your hopes up about them fixing these problems any time soon. Priority issue for 343 is now releasing Halo ODST and multiplayer, such as ranks and dealing with quitters. These once a month updates are a joke because their choice of priorities don’t fix problems that people have complained about since November.
