Hey y’all, does anyone have a working game data recorder for H2?
I recently found a massive collection of H2 game data I had saved from back when the old H2O stat reader was working (I think it was that one), over 200 accounts worth of info. I had been able to scrub a player’s game data and export some of the information to an excel sheet, so for example it would populate an excel sheet where each row was a BTB game the player was in, with kills/deaths/score/gameURL/etc in the columns. I decided to create a stat leaderboard with it
I was a top BTB player in Halo 2 and reached #1 in the playlist on multiple accounts. There used to be a lot of talk about who best in the playlist were, whether the MLG pros were automatically better at the playlist, which teams were the most successful. It was difficult to compare statistics across many people because the game didn’t record K/D or win % or anything, just rank. I don’t imagine very many people will care about this 15 years later, so I’m just doing it for fun and to share with some of the other BTB guys still on my friends list.
I have a bunch of MLG pros like Zyos/StK Tupac/SadPanda/Clutch/Soldier187/etc., as well as main accounts and alts from most players on the top BTB teams and Major Clans. I still have another 100 accounts of data to add, but I’d like to be able to add my IRL friends and some others I’ve met in the last decade as well and manually recording every game from an account is just not going to happen.
