My buddy and I were playing H2 Anniversary Coop and were having a good time till we hit certain areas that were tougher and one of us would die. We’d both then be reset, and respawn at the last checkpoint. This got very frustrating and ultimately made the game less fun. It would be nice to be able to respawn at our buddy’s location (like in other halo campaigns) instead of having to work and rework portions of a mission because one of us was unlucky enough to get killed.
The place where this happened the most (and stalled us for quite some time) is on Metropolis when you’re exit the tunnel into the big courtyard area. There are numerous sniper jackals in this area that (on Legendary) have unbelievably good accuracy and reflexes. If you don’t kill them in one shot they spin on a dime and hit you square in the face before you can even get another shot off. Again, infuriating when you have to reset to the last check point and try to avoid sniper fire over and over and over again.
Please allow us to be able to spawn on our fellow player’s location! This would help game play flow better and make it more fun.
