Can you still get the h2 br in req packs?
Yes you can but only in gold packs.
For me it was one of the last things to get, at level 131. At the beginning, I did not do the bronze, silver, then gold. If I did, it would have come out earlier.
Odds are it will be one of the last things you unlock being so rare. Just make sure you unlock all your silver level stuff then move on to golds.
They’ll never not be on in gold packs.
You can get everything in gold packs except for a few armor pieces and skins. But every gun in game is available
only in gold packs.
Adding on to what everyone said about gold packs, it’s also a mythic tier unlock- meaning it’s even more rare than all the other legendary reqs and unlocks. It was one of the last things in the whole game I unlocked. Good luck!
Start with silvers until you get req refunds then go onto gold… it’s a grind man. It was literally the last thing i unlocked and it was the only warzone item i actually wanted lol.
I got it around 100 but i started off with silvers and basically sold every single req card that I got to grind for it.

As the Tactical Magnum is an Ultra Rare item, only Gold packs will be able to unlock it (and technically Platinum packs when they’re around).
On a scale of 1 to 10, if unlocking everything was a 10 (and it took me just under a year to unlock everything without any purchases), I acquired the H2BR at 7.5 on the scale.
Yep, like everyone says it’s through the gold packs only though. The fastest way to get it is by unlocking everything possible in silver packs (you’ll start to get two, 1500 req point cards instead of 2x permanent unlocks at this point), then gold packs because silver will get the uncommon and rare unlocks out of the way at half the price. Once you’re done you can move onto the gold and you’ll probably get it towards the end of unlocking the rarer items with golds. This is because it is like a legendary or a mythic unlock or something like that. Also come up with your own system of selling cards you aren’t going to use. Also make sure to take advantage of all of the daily win/login packs as well as the fact that arena and warzone each have their own boost cards. Doing that makes it go by much faster.
You could always take a massive break from Warzone, sell all your REQs, and sell all new REQs. You’ll get a whole lot of RP like that.

I might actually do that, as I never use Reqs in Warzone. Just the load out ones. Thanks for the tip.

I’m actually using the H2 Battle Rifle a lot more often than the H5 version. I only really use the latter if I don’t have an option, given the recoil at certain ranges.
I never liked how the loadout weapons were locked behind a req pack. You have so many more options that are significant with the unlocks.

I think the halo 2 br is better as it has less recoil and reloads faster

Yes. But the ttk is faster with H5BR. As much as I hate to admit…
