Halo 2 Battle Rifle vs Halo 5 Battle Rifle, what is best? ( in your opinion )
Halo 2 Battle Rifle for life.
Not that the BR85N is absolutely horrible, I just prefer the sound and look of the BR55.
Not even a close contest, H2BR all the way. The look, sound, zoom view style is superior in every way over the garbage H5BR.
I would like the H5BR a lot more if the zoom view was like older Halo games that’s for sure. To me it just doesn’t feel like a Halo weapon anymore I’m sorry to say.
I prefer the H2BR simply because it sounds better, more menacing. The H5BR sounds like a nail gun.
H2 Br is for that lazy not really trying today feel so you can land your shot too much use and you’ll forget how to H5 br at all
H2 BR is a lot easier to use in H5 but I still prefer it. Neither are bad though IMO.
I find the Halo 5 BR to be a bit more powerful… does it take less shots to kill? I’m pretty accurate with my shots and find that I can get kills easier with the H5. But from what I understand the H2 has more bullet magnetism?

Ah yeah, that’s what I thought. The H5 has a slightly lower TTK and the H2 has more magnetism. Quite a lot more by the looks of things.
H2 BR all day every day, I don’t believe there’s much of a difference between the 2 other than aesthetics, but for some reason the H2 BR just feels right.
H2 is better at close quarters combat, the H5 BR has a better use at long range over the H2 BR. Once again, it depends on the situation for me. But if I absolutely have to pick, H2 BR. It’s design is amazing, it’s so simple. Put it next to everything else in Halo 5 and it looks out of place, which is sad. Plus, you can actually hear the 3 bullets of the H2 BR.
I bounce back and forth but mostly use the h2br these days, despite it having a slower ttk.
H2 is so much more satisfying to use
