Most enjoyable sounding weapon in H5, and just so fun to use. I like Riptide just because I can use this weapon. What do you think?

I like the weapon, but just as it has always been for me in past Halo games, I can’t kill anything with it. While I can skillfully obtain perfect kills with the Halo 5 BR, I can barely get more than one bullet from each H2 BR burst to hit a player. None of my friends have this problem, either. It’s just me. XD
NO! We don’t need that OP BR on every map or start off with it. If you want that type of gameplay then go to MCC. Halo 5 BR is ok and balance between all the weapons while Halo 2 classic BR has never been even close to. That H2 BR feels more like the H2A BR more anything else which is OP more than the normal one. I really don’t want to see the weapon on every map. Maybe one map but anything other than that is overkill.
I like it as a pickup on maps. Riptide plays well with it. Its fun to use, but I don’t want to see it as a loadout weapon or littering the maps everywhere. It plays well within the sandbox as it stands. Great addition and a good throwback to the weapon of old. Glad they did added it.
I did like the idea of a halo 2 throw back weekend playlist with H2 BR starts on forged H2 maps. It’d be fun…but again I don’t think it should be a permanent playlist.
While I agree the BR-55 is the best Battle Rifle I do think that it would make more sense for the BR-85 to be the main one as it is the new standard.
YES! I have only played one game of Riptide, but I have 12 kills with the Halo 2 BR. It was so much fun to use! I hope future maps have the halo 2 BR put on them too. I’m cool if they stay with the current BR though for campaign. It makes more canonical sense.
Halo 2 BR has wayyyy too much auto aim.

Erm… You do know that the Halo 2 BR has a slower kill time than the Halo 5 one, right?
Aim magnetism too high for it to be standard

Looks exactly like the H2 BR, which imo looks better than the FAMAS looking BR we have atm. I like both, just prefer H2s.

Who said it’s all we are gonna use…Just said the inclusion of the gun as the main BR would be nice
Besides, it is not like 343i revolutionise every gun game to game.
See, I don’t know. On one hand, it’s a cool gun, but on the other hand, it essentially will break the lore that it was replaced with the new BR; I would rather they not cut corners on lore and story based on player nostalgia or enjoyment of certain guns.
