When the beam rifle delta is fired, there appears to be hit markers still remaining after, similar to that of voids tear, leaving a gravity well which draws enemies into it. While there doesn’t appear to actually be a gravity well on the promethean knight after the beam rifle is fired (as seen in the video), it could also be that it does a short amount of dps after it hits the target, or leaves some small marker on the enemy which does additional damage (similar to that of the dying star).
