Question: Is there any difference, gameplay-wise, between the base models of the 2 beam rifles? Also, which one do yall prefer?

Also say your favourite variant overall.

Halo 5 Beam Rifle has a bright purple targeting glare that makes you very visible when scoped in, while the Halo 2 Beam rifle does not. As such, the Halo 2 Beam Rifle is better.

H2 Beam now has blue glare.

Blue > Purple. The H2 also sounds better.

Halo 2 Beam Rifle has lens glare too.

Color from the glare… I prefer the blue, less noticeable.

Oh, okay. Both are still pretty darn noticable though

Ya they are. But I feel like there tends to be more blue lights on maps already compared to purple. So it might give the sniper a split second more before someone does something about it.

I suppose, because since there’s blue team, there would be more blue things. Think Spire an Apex 7.

No, the reticule is the same.

There doesn’t seem to be any difference… not sure why they even bothered…

That was a glitch that they patched a little while later.

I think the H2 Beam Rifle variants are way better than the H5 ones.
