So it’s been a very long time since I’ve played Halo 2 online. Because I don’t have XBC I haven’t played Halo 2 online since the servers went down in 2010. I’ve played co-op campaign with a friend, but I haven’t touched multiplayer in over 4 years.
So today it hit me. Halo 2 online is really coming back, I get to play again after all this time, I wonder how rusty I’ll be. I might need some practice. I accepted a long time ago that Halo 2 was gone and I was never going to get to play it again online. Now 343i comes along and gives me back H2.
Does anyone else who played back then feel the same way.
I’ll do fine. I’m an adult now, so things like this don’t scare me. I’ll relax and have fun. After an hour or two, I’ll be at the same skill level as Halo 4’s multiplayer.

I’m an adult as well and I’m surely not scared. What I was really getting at was that I finally get to play again. After so long I get to play something I never thought was coming back, that was the real point of my post.
I know what you mean, I’m 21 so when halo 2 was at its prime I can safely say it was my childhood every day after school I would rush home just to jump online with friends and spend the evening having an absolute blast and now I get to rush home from work to play it 
I think after a few hours or maybe a day of slaying everything will come back to us vets can’t wait to see everyone on the battlefield.
