If Microsoft is too stubborn to release Halo 1 and 2 on Steam, then why not just make them available on the Windows 8.1 store (after of course makng it so they both work right on it). People love those games and Im sure lots will get Windows 8 if those games were on it. Because I want to play some Halo 2 on PC, but its so hard to find a copy. oh, and remove that pesky “computer limit” Halo 2 has.
Of course I prefer it be on Steam.
I second this all the way, any day
Oh, and have a trial version of each game so we can see if it works on our computers. Unrelated, all PC games should have demos or trial periods, because unlike console games you cant return them.
Also kinda annoyed thread like these get ignored because someone has made the 10th thread in 3 days about how 343 is bad people. Yes, you should be pissed, but be pissed in one of the threads already made.
Yeah I don’t see a problem with this, would be neat if they brought Halo 3 over to PC finally as well.
Good idea, it would be great to put him on sale in Windows Store, with multiplayer and achievements, would be a game that actually would sell for fans of halo.
Oh, and make sure we can edit controls. on both the keyboard and mouse AND gamepad.
I really hope this gets made. Because I dont really care about the graphics upgrade in H2A, nor do I want to pay $560 just to play some Halo 2 again (HD TV $100 minimum, Xbox One $400, MCC $60)
Yeah, let’s satisfy the PC Master Race.

Not every PC gamer is an elitist like some people seem to enjoy believing. I happily own a gaming PC and will be getting an Xbox One soon to reunite with the Halo community. No reason for the random hostility.
EDIT: I’ve realized i replied in the wrong tab in my browser. Sorry for any confusion.
Yeah i gues H1 and H2 on steam would be fine as they have already been released for PC, just making it easier by putting it on steam sounds good.
