So regarding the new banning system, I want to know what’s in store for my playstyle situation.
I play Halo 1 nearly every day along with my Dad and brother.
I play at my apartment on my PC, they play splitscreen on their Xbox One.
For about every 1 in 10 games, we’ll match up in the lobby, enter the loading screen, and one of us will disconnect from the match.
Those of us that get disconnected will be banned for the next 10 minutes.
We’ve also learned that if the one of us remaining in that game goes on to finish that level,
as soon as that person finishes they will become banned as well. And it’s almost like the ban of the disconnectors will wait til the player is finished to start the 10 minute ban.
Just a bunch of crazy stuff. We’ve got excellent internet in both houses. Solid stable connections.
We’ve tried tons of stuff but this problem happens multiple times EVERY day of playing.
I’m especially worried with the new ban system going into place. The 6th offense = 16 hours??
How will the system know what to categorize our “offense” as?
This glitch has given us hundreds of “offenses” by now.
I do not want a disconnection glitch to ruin the one game me and my family have shared for 20 years.
If we get glitch disconnected and have to turn the whole thing off for a day
JUST to log in the next day and get banned again beyond our control
That’s going to be really really sad.
