I highly doubt it. “Latest playable game releases” means the most recent Halo games to come out. Halo Wars 2 and Halo 5 being obvious candidates, while MCC might also be there given it’s recent update.

HOD wouldn’t be a good place to show test builds of Infinite. It would be hard to get good feedback, hard to regulate, hard to ensure that information wasn’t spread/leaked. It would be a logistical nightmare.

I wonder if the fact its just a month after E3 is significant? They must know it would be a let down to have nothing new for infinite there but i wouldnt put it past them to do that. I highly doubt itll be playable tho. Im betting that flighting will start around the end of this year at soonest.

I doubt it but that would be really cool

It’s not always about the logistics. Having the game available would allow people to play test it for themselves. The convention does happen right after E3 so there still is a possible chance for something relative to Halo Infinite.

Especially for this event to happen after E3, I feel 343 would be less worried about leaks.
