H:I sandbox already giving me some fun forge ideas

I’m just imagining remaking old forge maps with Infinites gameplay. Sacrifice, a custom game on Halo 3 where you and friends spawn on a platform with a giant hole in the middle and warthogs and ghosts to push each other off with. The simple addition of the grappleshot would make this mode even more of a blast because I can just see myself getting pushed off the cliff, then jumping out and grappleshotting to the edge, saving myself to my competitors disarray. The grappleshot is giving me pre launch Halo Reach jetpack levels of hype. The possibilities with the tools (Even the ones that haven’t been announced yet, which I’m sure will be equally as fun) are truly endless. The Halo sandbox is going to be FUN again. And heck, who knows what else the grappleshot will be used for in forged custom maps and games…it’s gonna be crazy.

Although I’m not super hyped for the grappleshot, I am certainly looking forward to what the community does with it. The off-the-wall game types that get invented are always a blast.

Or, you know, a Spider-Man game mode… Spider-Man style.

“Grapple rally” Get to selected places using only grapple shot. There is no jumping, walking, etc.

This, maybe there will be an option for unlimited grapple hook usage for this custom game.
