H:i lore discussion (banished weaponry)

So ive been talking to a few people on why certain weapons could be missing due to lore, carbine and brute shot namely.

My personal take is that the banished are just that, banished. They simply cant obtain the weapons from the Sangheili home world sangillios (for the carbine). Then the flip side is the high charity, which produced the brute shot, simply is non existent now.

So after time and a severe need to scrap things in order to keep their war machine running they likely had low reserves of covanant tech or lost it in conflict over the decade or so crusade they are on. They legit just scrapped the few they had to keep producing what they could

So this brings up a rather big question, how are they obtaining and processing more blamite? It only can be found on sangillios and requires refining. Neither option the banished have.

Are they rationing their needler ammo? Because how do they get more. Plus they use blamex, a raw explosive using blamite.

Also if they do have to ration blamite, could the new needler take more needles because they are “deluted” to try and make them go further?

Honestly perplexed about how the banished get this ammo/explosive.

All of this does play into their NEED to develope new weaponry like the ravenger and shock weaponry.

You’re talking about the Banished here, these guys have roots as marauding pirates who attack, take what they want, and gtfo.

In fact, that capability was demonstrated in the opening cutscene of Infinite : Attacked Infinity, took Weapon, left.

It’s not utterly impossible for them to attack a Sangheli outpost, grab everything there, convert some Elites to the Banished cause, kill the others, leave.

I get their are maradering but there is no way scavenging an already super rare substance leads to every dude holding s needler still. Locicqlly unsound.

I think you are mistaken regarding its rarity.
If it was so rare, it wouldn’t even be used in weapons manufacturing in the first place, much less used as ammo.

Also, Sangheli have been known to sell Blamite to anyone who can afford to pay for it, and the Banished in turn could be robbing those guys too.

Kinda strange that the brute shot, spiker and brute plasma rifle aren’t in the game. The carbine is understandable but those 3 would fit right in with the Banished aesthetic… Though it’s not great how projectiles and hit decals now vanish quicker than any other Halo game, I’d love to make a mess and see all the spikes and plasma burns everywhere. Hilarious amounts of bright alien blood would make that a complete Halo experience but that’s just wishful thinking.
