More I read about the people that 343 are hiring to build this game the more I am feeling Halo 5 is the last of the campaign Halo games.
It is looking like 343 is caving to the trends in the industry instead of changing and making the industry.
Also…shouldn’t this game be at least 50-70% done by now? WE have been waiting three years already and they’re hiring people now… WTF 343?
Well, it appears they’ve been building this engine for the last 3 years with a bit of work going into the game itself. I’d wager the game is around 30% done considering it looks like they’re aiming for a Fall 2019 release. I’d just suggest being patient and happy that they’re not rushing this one out like the last two. Also, game studios are always hiring.
As for caving to trends I see nothing to suggest that they’re copying any of the games you mentioned.

No 343 would never remove the campaign. Hell there’s even a rumor that’s halo infinite is 2 games with single player releasing first and multiplayer later

I’m not sure how you gathered that from the tech demo of the engine… They’re shown us what’s possible but we’re a bit off from finding out what the next game is going to include

One of the biggest complaints about game releases, especially around Halo 5, is the being “rushed”. 343 taking their time with this should be a good sign.
