I love these two game modes and will continue to do so.

Halo 3 is gone. Halo 2 is gone.
I loved H3 more than anything I did. And I would love nothing more than a reskin of that. But it’s not going to happen and Halo 4 is well Halo 4. It is not H2 or H3.
So why feel the need to complain when EVERYTHING doesn’t go your way?
It’s not over yet, 343i is not blind. They see the problems, and I have no doubt in my mind that they won’t change them in a course of time.

Technically Halo 3 is still there, but point is taken. If you enjoy the game you’ll get better and adapt to it’s changes. If not then you’ll just hate it.

Oh yeah I totally agree with you. But the fact of the matter is… You just gotta play until it happens, or not, but people come up here blowing -Yoink- out of proportion cause they prob got wrecked in a match and are blaming it on something stupid.

Yeah. Basically the point is I guess I’m trying to say it will never be exactly like h3 again which I feel is what a lot of people wanted.
What 'bout the gals?
People complain that COD never changes. In the halo series there has been huge changes every iteration. Now everyone wants it to stay stagnant like COD, but they complain that it’s too much like COD…even though I don’t see how it’s like COD at all, there is a ranking system, but it means even less than the ranking system in MW3 (it’s a bit similar to BO2, but not to any other COD game). You can unlock whatever weapon or perk at whatever rank you want as long as you have the tokens, COD series makes you meet certain levels to get certain weapons and perks. The guns and gameplay is completely different. I can’t dolphin dive in Halo and I can’t jump 10 feet in COD. I can’t stealth in COD and I can’t spawn dogs on a kill streak in Halo. I don’t get these Halo is becoming like COD. You get call ins, but they don’t have the same skill less kills as COD does, sure you get power weapons, but sometimes you grab those and then have 2 people come up behind you and kill you anyways, while in COD you usually get an item that auto kills people for you.
…That was a lot of rambling… My point being… LET THINGS CHANGE! Let new ideas rise to the surface. Let games that came up with good ideas have some affect on existing franchises to make them better. If you’re a really picky gamer, you should probably just develop your own game, as no developer will ever make you happy.
I honestly don’t understand why people feel the way they do. I’m actually satisfied with Halo 4 even though I’ve been playing Halo since 2001. Maybe its because I played Halo multiplayer via LAN party until I finally registered for Xbox Live in 2009.
I don’t hate the changes. It’s just that unscoping breakes the game and it’s just no fun anymore to play BTB with DMR’s and Ragnarok every single time.
I’m just sticking with normal slayer and flood then.
If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
There were changes in every Halo, but the problem is because they copied another franchise and it took away from the identity of the game.
If I wanted to play Call of Duty, I would.
They even copied Spec Ops in the form of Spartan Ops. How pathetic do you have to be?

-Aim assist sticks to opponent like glue
-Instant respawns
-Starting loadouts with AA’s instead of earning them with map control
-Sprint still in-game
-Overpowered long range weapons
-Broken spawns/instand spawns take away from the old “pushing” to opponents side

What people like you don’t understand is that we don’t mind if they add to the game but don’t take away from it.
What 343 did is add a mess of new features while taking away the key features that makes a Halo game, a Halo game. They can go ahead and keep all the new additions, we just want what every other Halo had because simply put, if they don’t it’s pretty hard to call this game “Halo”. How are they going to make a sequel to a franchise if they didn’t keep anything from the prequel.

when DMR OPness and the dumb instant re-spawn are gone then ill stop. both are breaking the hell out of the game.

It would be nice to see constructive criticism. Instead of “this game sucks”. I’m not a big fan of the no des coping either but damn if its that big a deal don’t play the game.
And not saying you’re wrong for wanting the old stuff but my God deal with t and play the game.
Because we live in a generation where people believe whining gets you what you want, and unfortunately it usually does.
They believe their opinion is a deciding factor and that their words of anger and their degrading views are helpful criticism.
They believe that because the majority of the forum may agree with them, they do not know that the majority of the halo community does not actually even know about a halo forum. (I am the only one out of my RL friends that uses this forum, we have been playing system link halo since it first came out. That makes 1 out of 19 people that uses the forum. I imagine it to be even bigger with the rest of the community.)
It’s called lack of respect, which a lot of people suffer from. Go outside and experience the general public and you’ll see it clear as day.
