Guys.....we have a BIG problem....

Alright, we have a MAJOR problem…I’ve asked about 6 of my friends if they were getting Halo 4…and their response was “What? They’re making a new Halo game? Where did you hear this?”…Just the fact that 6 of my friends (who are Halo fans) have not heard of Halo 4 shows that we are in a tad bit of trouble. The game is at the bottom of almost every “Highly Anticipated Games Of 2012” list. I really hope that 343I can redeem themselves sometime soon…or we are in a whole lotta trouble.

lol, I hope you’re kidding.

How are they fans if they haven’t heard of Halo 4?

Yeah the same thing happened to me. They thought I was kidding when I said that 343i was making a Halo 4.

> How are they fans if they haven’t heard of Halo 4?

the really bad marketing job that 343i is doing

343 hasn’t even started marketing Halo 4 yet. We still have a good few months to go.

Because they didn’t start the marketing campaign yet? Duh.
(Your friends are still limited the teaser was all over the net after last years E3.)

Edit:

This.

There’s no reason for them to rush the marketing. Anybody who doesn’t know yet, WILL know after E3 rolls into town.

How is this a major problem?
The game isn’t even going to be released until Q4 of this year, if no one knows that 343i is making another Halo game at this point in time, it doesn’t mean it’s a major problem, it just means those people don’t keep their ears to the ground when it comes to gaming, or they don’t follow Halo news that closely.
343i hasn’t been doing any marketing, so they’re not doing a bad job at it, because it’s not time to start doing marketing.

Now, if this was 2 months before the game is released, then there might be some issues.

(Joker voice) It’s all…part of the plan…

Seriously though I’m kinda thinking they are going to wait out the marketing campaign so for the people who haven’t heard of Halo 4, they will be so excited that they will HAVE to get it. I hope they do a marketing campaign that closely resembles Halo 3’s. With Halo 4 slushies, game fuel, doritos, ads at the grocery store, commercials, EVERYTHING! I will be excite.

we’re gonna need a bigger boat…

That would be awesome if 343i can actually advertise Halo like that.

Thinking that 343i hasn’t started a marketing campaign yet, it’s pretty probable that most people who don’t follow gaming news that much don’t know about it. Especially when no one was ever expecting an actual sequel to Halo 3, there has been a while since the release of Halo 3, and 343i isn’t a very known company, I don’t find it hard to believe at all that most people are unaware of the game.

I believe that when the marketing starts and the people who don’t know about it get informed, the old spark of a Halo 3 sequel that has been there since people saw the Legendary ending will lit again.

I don’t really see a problem with the current situation we ahve here. The marketing campaign will inform every uninformed gamer and the people who wanted a Halo 3 sequel will get interested.

I even wonder if your friends think that Bungie is still running reach. Do they even know about the big move? I don’t remember how, but I even knew about halo 4 before Bungie left. Then it just went from there. Someone must have gave me a heads up, or I embarked upon it accidentally myself.

Not surprising seeing as Halo 4 has had only one real trailer, I am not including the Concept Art glimpse as lets face it: Its only concept and not the final version.

Also how can they be fans of Halo? They must be the weakest halo fans ever…or alternatively a mix of blind/def/illiterate.

Second something proper comes up Halo will reclaim its top place of ‘The Most Anticipated List’, and also lets not forget…most of the anticipated games will wash out, whereas Halo 4 will actually be decent unlike every Call of Duty ever made.

But there’s already been two trailers, and the real marketing hasn’t even begun yet.

Relax, people. In due time, many more will know.

Well, there’s been no advertising yet, so it makes sense that not a whole lot of people will know about it if they haven’t going to gaming websites or forums.

lmfao, clearly not big halo fans. but i would say lack of info is most likely why they havent heard about it. maybe they will start making billboards, ads on facebook/twitter or w.e and commercials for TV, to me that would inform people, like your friends, that Halo 4 is real and its comming soon

343 Industries haven’t even begun to advertise Halo 4 to there fullest as of yet…

Watch this space…
