Guys Relax

We all are having the same problems. They know what’s going on. Don’t go attacking just because it’s not working 100% right now. It’ll get fixed were all in the same boat here. Just be glad Halo is back and once it’s fixed well all be able to play a game we love

When a release date is given I expect to play a game. Right now I cannot play H2A with my buddy because of the myriad of -Yoink- that’s going on right now. This NOT acceptable.

Hey Mr High and mighty relax lol. Nothing you can do so stop complaining haha

Not only that, but you’re not entitled to play anything but what they allow, or give you, or bugs permitting allows. You bought a license to use content, you didn’t actually purchase the content itself. That would cost you millions and millions of dollars.

The game will be amazetits when it’s smoothed. Chillax. There’s plenty of great games to play in the meantime if you don’t like the campaign solo.

I’d bet you guys would be pissed if you didn’t get pickles on a $1 cheese burger more than a $60 game that you can’t play as advertised. Tell me, judging by the pain in your throat, how big is that -Yoink- you’re sucking?

Hey buddy ive gotten into 5 lobbies one after another. Karma must suck for you

Being that I’m not the only person with this problem, I’d bet the “Sucks to be you” line doesn’t make you look any less of an -Yoink-.

Young inexperienced game players. They’ll always be like this iBokolo. If they refund, then good. We really don’t need toxic people anyways.

Yup I am not too worried. Ive been waiting too long for this game to come out lol. I can wait a day or so im in no rush lol

The only thing toxic here is a group of fanboy betas that support anti-consumerist culture.
Righteous outrage is what quickly turns smart companies away from aweful projects and policies. Would Microsoft have removed DRM if their consumer base not complained? You’re advocating for failure despite the effect it has on other people (because, hey, if it effects you less, f* them).

No were advocating patience for a company trying to fix a couple of problems. You’re going all anti halo just because of a few glitches. Relax and just wait. The reason failure occurs is when companies stop caring not when they have some problems. Learn to be less aggressive and try and see it from different perspectives. 343 is trying to fix the problems. You haven’t worked on a game so you can’t sit there saying you understand all the problems

And you are making g excuses for something that never should have happened. There is no excuse. I was patient for the months before it was launched. We shouldn’t have to be patient now you dip -Yoink-

So you made the game right? Did you work on it? Quick question what have you done to fix the glitches? Is this the first game with glitches off the bat? Read what you’re saying before you type

Young inexperienced players? people complaining because a game that’s shipped not only isn’t working 100%, but is in a very broken state as is? How is it that this is even remotely acceptable? The game design industry has become far too reliant on the ability to patch a game after it launches, that they decide they can send out a rushed product, and fix it later. it’s becoming more and more common in the gaming industry, and it irks me to no end to hear people call others self-entitled for complaining. Voicing ones opinion is not inherently toxic, nor should it be frowned upon. It’s not being entitled to be dissatisfied with a service that you pay for, but do not receive fully. If you enjoy buying a game, or any other product for that matter, to just wait for it to be fixed that fine. That doesn’t mean that the practice itself is fine. In my opinion, I’d rate this launch, up at the top, with Simcity, in terms of blunders. But, hey I’m just an old gamer, what can I say. I enjoy reliability, rather than, “oh, it’ll get fixed later.”

“You made the cheese burger right? Did you raise the cows for its burger meat? Quick question have you tried making your own burger? Is this your first time having a burger made wrong?”

–This employee was fired the next day.

BTW you can’t read what you have not typed. Maybe you should think about what you mean before you post it.

Only young inexperienced gamers would expect games to be broken at launch.

Let’s take this from another angle. I liked the cheeseburger one.

You go to Wendy’s and order a Baconator with cheese, no pickles, because you hate pickles. You also order a large fry and a large coke. You drive around to the window and pay your 7 bucks. You drive to the second window and they hand you the coke, saying "We’ll get you your burger in a few minutes. Can you please pull forward and wait?’’

So as a good customer, you pull forward and wait, expecting to wait maybe 5 minutes at most. 5 minutes rolls around, then 10, then 15, then 30. Still no burger, still no fries. You are about halfway done with the coke.

What do you do? Do you sit in your car and still wait? Or do you get out and tell them that you’ve been waiting 30 minutes for your food and that their service has been unacceptable? Do you demand that they either give you your food or they give you a refund, or do you just wait patiently?

I understand that you are a loyal fan of Halo. I am too. I love the game when I finally get into matchmaking. But, like the example of the cheeseburger, the service I have paid for is unacceptable. If they can’t deliver on the promises of matchmaking, they shouldn’t have released it until it was ready.

There just isn’t an excuse for this. The customer is being screwed here. And that customer, good sir, is you. You have the power to change things, but you are throwing that power away by saying "they’ll get it some time!’

I am not young first and for most. Second yes Vira1 Chaos made great points, but here is my point. There is a difference between voicing an opinion and just attacking. Here is the thing yes the game has lots of problems, yes they should have fixed it, but does that mean we have to go insane and go crazy, no. We can’t do anything but wait now and I’m 99% sure that they realize their mistake now. Also if none of you have thought about this. Halo 4 was rushed (due to Bungie leaving and making Halo Reach a half finished product which 343 finished the rest) Than 343 tried to make up for it with a rushed product (Halo 4) Now they rushed this game (Which if none of you have noticed is a 4 game in 1 which none of us have ever seen before) So of course there is going to be problems. It’s rushed on top of being 4 games yes 4 games in 1 disc. So excuse me for cutting them a little slack considering what they’re doing is not an easy task.

Then they should have told us that it would be buggy at launch, if that was the plan from the start.

They should have done a beta to make sure the servers could handle the pressure.

They should have pushed the release date back until the game was ready.

They should have…

The list goes on and on buddy. But what you don’t understand is that you paid 60 dollars for a game that you can’t play. What’s the point of releasing it on the anniversary of Halo 2 if it’s not ready yet? YOU are the one getting screwed here, not 343. They have the money we all spent on the game. It’s been 24 hours and there has been no visible improvement as of yet.

Bingo Homer! I think the severity of this mishap hasn’t been adequately explained minus a cusory glance at thread titles. Think about Destiny with its recent influx of glitches. Was the game playable? Yes. Could you play Co-op? Yes. Can you win a raid despite the glitches… with a decent team and some luck Yes. The repulsion to such negativity over something you love is understandable. My post was certainly mild but concerned titled “Bungie, I’m frustrated with the raid on hard mode.”

The difference here is that the game was playable. 343 has delivered for many if not most of us an UNPLAYABLE game. This isn’t just some bug that erases your progress (marathons are fun anyways). It’s preventing me from playing the game.

As far as the consumer is concerned 343i is walking on thin ice ever since the disenfranchisement of the Multiplayer crowd. We might see this as a representation of the quality of future releases and many of us will not preorder this game.
