Recon used to be my go-to armor until it was replaced by Halo 4’s version. Glad to see it making a comeback.

The reason I like Reach EOD was because they some how to me give off a stormtrooper vibe, but is just my opinion.

I mostly liked the 3 EOD because of the separated visor, but I can definetly see where you’re going with Reach’s EOD being similar to a stormtrooper.

I know my clones and stormtroopers, you don’t need to reference me pics lol. I think the REach EOD is actually closer to the stormtrooper helm (minus the visor of course) and the clone helm. All around Reach was closer.

I just realized, Where Noble 6’s armor and helmet? And I don’t mean the Decimator because that Mark VII integrated to Mark VI Gen 2. Shouldn’t he get his own hemet and armor set in Halo 5?

…Here’s a Mark V comparison. We aren’t getting the ‘Reach Mark V,’ We’re getting the sweet Halo 3 Mark V from the looks of it. I’m glad too, because I think the slightly more angular H3 Mark V looks better than the CE/Reach/4 helmet.
Oh and that link is done in Halo 3 armor, so the helmet in the gif is kind of what we are getting (shape-wise.)
As someone who has never played Halo Reach (shame on me, indeed), these classic armors are a breath of fresh air.

Yeah, that’s what I thought it was. I didn’t think Reach’s Mark V had lines on the visor.
Do you think it was 343i’s plan to release the good stuff after H5’s population had mostly died off…so only the committed would get this stuff?
