Guys, it’s a live service game. Like holy cow, they need to make money somehow.
I’m sorry but the “Trust 343i to do the right thing, they have heard us” argument is invalid.
Who exactly are you referring to?
Who’s heard us?
Who is making the change, directly?
If their staff truly are on 18 month contracts.
If they lose multiplayer design leads and other high positions frequently. (At least 1 or 2 per month since launch)
Then who exactly has heard you?
Who is there actually making change, consistently?
Name them.
Let me just outline something.
Season 1 was 6 months, Season 2 was again, six months.
In the 1 month since seasons 2 launch the only updates after 7 months have been reversing changes made to Season 2 and a change to how rank is now calibrated. 25 games to play ranked, ranked CSR now creates brackets - stopping friends of various skill playing together.
They no longer provide weekly updates on their own website.
None of the previously mentioned articles on broken things like desync, Anti Cheat, localized server settings have been mentioned for 4 months now.
So if they have people working on the game on 18 month contracts, the guys that started working at the start of season 1 will have 6 months left to work there at the end of season 2.
The guys that Started 6 months before launch, will be leaving at the end of season 2, etc etc.
So who are you banking your hope on things getting better with?
Frankie? Bonnie Ross? KiKi? Joe Staten?
People who seem to show up at E3 or live events to promote the next game and then fade into nothingness again like the ghosts of halo past?
Outside of them? Who?
Nah the criticism and hate is well deserved for 343.
Released a barebones game.
Wont listen to feedback.
Terrible decision making lol.
This is their 3rd game and theyve gone backwards.
One step forwards when it comes to art, gameplay, and sound design.
Five steps back when it came to planning, logistics, and franchise management.
That’s exactly what we used to say about season 2 … stop lying to yourself ![]()

I hope in season 3 get fixed correctly! I don’t want to get disappointed again like I was in Halo Infinite Season 1 And Season 2. ![]()
Peace!

1: They have overpriced campaign sales, so that’s a massive count of cash coming in alrighty at launch.
2: they are selling merchandise from waypoint and Xbox’s shop so that’s there as well…
3: they’re selling armors and customization options.
My gripe with the armors and stuff they sell is they’re selling stuff we got for free in previous games…… it would be completely different if maybe they sold limited edition never before seen custom super cool armor items and such. But it is tremendously low to sell stuff that was free in previous games. Hell. The combat knife that was DEFAULT in halo reach you have to buy now…. So yes, they need to make money, but they already make money with things they do outside the game, they don’t need to be selling stuff that was default from previous games.
Oh, I failed to mention all the previous titles they still make cash from. Mcc, and halo 5. Halo 5 is having a massive spike in players do to how much of a flop infinite was.
Season 2 was so hyped for, In all seriousness it flopped worse than season 1. they said “oh yeah, we’ll add this, this and this” and so fourth for season 2 but literally little to no difference in the game whatsoever. 2 maps, 2-3 new modes, and a few free armors…. That’s piss poor in terms of “more content”. A new “drop pod” update is coming soon with things that should’ve been resolved months ago in addition it comes with literally nothing worthwhile.
may the forerunners lay their salvation upon our souls.
Couldn’t have summed it up better lmao
Well I have been play’n 2042 till we get Forge and a Custom Game Browser. Now when a friend calls to join them in a game that is the only time I play Halo Infinite.
Peace!

That’s what they said about season 2. Atrocious.
Maybe the game isnt making enough money so they dont care any more.
I bet you were saying the same thing about season 2 before it dropped also lol
So i’m not one to normally go on forums, but i really need to emphasize the point these posts make. i bought the first and second passes. finished each pass in a few weeks’ time and had absolutely 0 incentive to play any more multiplayer outside of a whim. the fomo events aren’t worth a second look, i don’t like the practice so if its happening when im on great but if im not on, im not returning for it. i hope 343 actually reads these. i really have stuck by halo forever. but after beating the campaign on every difficulty and having no real progression in multiplayer, i have to say… mcc is more attractive than infinite… and that’s a yoinking shame… i want infinite to succeed so much but if i ever ask a friend to play they look at what they say is halo with ea levels of monetization and content. that’s not a good thing… i have absolutly no reason to think of to play halo, i have other games that reward me for playing, not actively lower my xp amount and cap off what i can earn… please if anyone is actually listening… content is a problem but incentive to actually play is essential, and its not there imo.
They don’t care what happens in the forums…
The only thing 343 cares about is collecting their paycheck.
Maybe we’ll get the missing season 1 and 2 cosmetics next season
Guess I was right. Just wait for Season 3 guys, come on. Making games is hard and devs need lots of breaks
Waiting for Season 3 would be silly.
We get Forge in 2.5 (or is it 2.8, I’m getting lost on the timelines).
I’m counting down the days until Nov 8.
FORGE!
Remember, all dates are subject to months worth of pushes and cancellations. Its an easily kicked over stick in the ground, as 343 would say
