Silly Halo fan, do you not understand how free to play works!?
All good content MUST be paid for. We just like to bait you with core gameplay for free, when we could have just released the game at $60 and you could have had all of this in one package. Instead enjoy our drip feed at a cost.
Of course I am being sarcastic, but seriously do not hold out hope for anything to NOT be monetized. Use the general rule that everything is not good until it is proven to be otherwise.

It wouldn’t necessary be a bad thing to those who want more content for this game, that are unsatisfied with what we have to consider taking a long break from the game and come back much later when more content is available perhaps.

Now, they just need more time to make Halo the best it can be. It’s what we all want; 343 especially!
We must trust they have our best interest at heart and only wish to protect us from more disappointment.

Now id sorta agree they have been listening and trying their best with what they got
But saying they wanted this game to be the best it could be is kinda a stretch for me when they monetized everything not even giving us the freedom of coloring our own spartan and haveing nothing planned but bare bone events and barely any gamemodes
Now they definitely hit home with the gameplay
But they aren’t really communicating with us and their really holding information to protect themselves
Now im holding hope for season 2 im optimistic but trust is a long shot

Same im probably going to wait that long aswell i dont think they’ll get everything in season 2 or even have a plan after but ill give them till season 3 iv waited this long anyways might aswell give them the time

I think the game will be “complete” at season 4, like it should have been on release.
But the biggest problem will be shortage of players.
If 343 released 1 map each month I would be satisfied or maybe 8-10 maps per year.
With this tempo they will have 4 maps per year if each season is 5-6 months long.
Long seasons will also kill the game.

The game still sucks whether its multiplayer or a battle royale, people dont like it but they will continue to deny it and keep trying to sell skins. 343 aren’t going to put all that time, effort and money into something and just drop it.
343 should of marketed the game at a younger audience if its supposed to be the only halo game for the next 10 years, kids are into minecraft and fortnite and they are 1gb games. 343 could of made a halo 3 styled game and sold skins and people would of loved it. Look at the MCC response from the seasons, such a great thriving game, but 343 completely ignored these stats and tried to copy the fortnite/call of duty themed approach.
Its obvious they have this heavy FPS looking game so people would buy the new generation of xbox which im guess was some sort of deal with microsoft and xbox. And they planned to get it out with the release of the xbox but weren’t ready and rushed it out when it was released.
I personally think its too late to admit infinite is a mistake but they will never throw in the towel and just scrap the game or completely revamp it at this point. At least give MCC some support, more seasons and keep it maintained.
The steam charts alone for MCC and infinite, being almost identical in player count should be ringing alarms for 343.

There will he an initial map you can forge on, and occasionally a map you can earn through events. Most maps will have to be individually purchased 
There’s a lot of things we didn’t think they’d do.
