I think its great that the Halo community is so passionate and active and truly cares about its success. But its getting way out of hand. i realize a lot of you are sour about Reach and are afraid Halo 4 is going to dissapoint you in the same way. But copying and pasting Halo 2/CE is not going to help. In fact the thought makes me sick to my stomach. It is a sign of weakness in the Halo community, we are terrified of anything new because we are afraid it will break what Halo is. We need to let it go.
Lets just put our faith in 343. They know what worked in Reach, they know what didn’t. I have confidence they are going to give it there all and make what they consider to be the best Halo game they possibly can. This is a sequel, not a remake, so copying past multiplayer is a bad idea. Just let them make the game, and stop being so unreasonable.
Asking for a multiplayer copy/paste job isn’t unreasonable. If that’s what people want, they’ll ask for it. Expecting a copy/paste job, however, is quite different.

Yes and no. I think they will be more excited to see what it actually is. I have a lot of faith in 343i and they really are a talented group if you actually see who’s working there.
Umm…This is a Halo forum for discussion about Halo if people want to discuss what they want for Halo 4 or what they think about Reach they are free to do so. Obviously 343i is already deep into development with Halo 4 and they probably have already have made most of the important story/gameplay decisions and they are now executing their plan for the game so its not like suggesting ideas for the game is worthwhile anyway. We are an opionated community and we are not afraid to say what we think about things relating to the game thats how it is in this community.
