So, in this source, it said something that caught my eye:
> get max level cap- reenlist into specializations (sniper, gunner etc)
Does anyone know what this means? I’m a bit confused.
Many thanks
UPDATE: Alright, so apparently, it’s something that mirrorrs the prestige system from CoD.
UPDATE: OK, according to someone on this thread, they are NOT like prestieges
god i hope its not prestiging i love all the other changes there making but thiss would piss me off i dont get why people want to start over after theyve unlocked everything. and for what an achievment maybe or some weapon skin that probably wont even look good. id rather have the reach ranking system back then one with prestige yeesh

Well some people like the feeling of continuously unlocking goodies, and progressing, even if it means locking them again. Its that feeling that drives people.

You can get rocket launchers in MW3 custom loadouts, but not in Halo 4.
Nope, I don’t believe you, I shall wait for more info.

i agree but remakes are different then exact replicas
The only time i would be ok with any kind of prestige/re-lock everything system (or more specifically, the only time i would consider using one) is if the ranking progression is fast. Many games with progression systems (CoD, Crysis 2, even Reach) I either stopped caring about progression (I no longer play high-credit modes in Reach) or even stopped playing because it felt like no matter what I did I would not progress (Crysis 2). Thats why I never even get to top rank even once in any of these games. If Halo 4 has a system in which I can unlock what I most want early and then still earn things at a reasonable pace and actually get to max rank rather quickly, i might use the system, but other than that I would not.
