I’m not disappointed with getting a Phaeton instead of a falcon, I’m upset in the way they revealed it. They slapped an ONI card over it like it was something classified by ONI specializations. If they just did the casual blur like they always have, that would have been one thing. This conversation would have been over. But instead they did a hard reveal and it got a lot of hopes up. They never said anything about a Falcon, sure, but the way they did it was just outright wrong and kinda misleading. And they never said anything about a Phaeton either. Hell, that ONI card could have been anything UNSC, but it wasn’t.
No matter what though, I will enjoy this update and am excited for this new Phaeton. It feels like it is gonna be pretty rad. And who knows, maybe they are still misleading us and there really is a Falcon but they are just joshing us. Even if it is unlikely, maybe one day we will get a UNSC vehicle. Still gonna enjoy this update regardless because the update is still a promising one. We got Infection! We waited so long and here it is, an amazing piece of Halo coming back to us. 3 out of 4 -Yoink- things within this update isn’t a bad score.
