Oh my goodness, I have a friend who pays $10 a month for his. He’s nuts. I keep telling him “dood, even at full price, buying a 12 month subscription is half the cost. And a lot of times Microsoft has them on sale for around $40.” And he just shrugs and says “yeah, it’s not a big deal. It’s not that expensive.” And I said “then just give me $10 every month and let me take care of it for you. If you like throwing money away, at least let me pocket it the other $60 you’re losing every year, you dingus.”
As of 4:00pm EST Sunday, August 2nd, it’s back up to $52.37

I recently went to CDKeys to update my Gold subscription, too. $33 for a year is great and it took less than five minutes to get my code and activate it.

Exactly. I like to stick with the yearly subscription as well. Easier on the wallet, and I can pay it when I feel the need to. Or in this case, simply wait for Newegg to have a good deal.
