I went into a match and while I was playing I saw a yellow guy standing there. His name was red and I shot him thinking it was only lag. Then he started shooting me
After that I killed him and he respawned right away and started shooting the flood.
Does any one know what this was?

Also everyone was an enemy on his screen
I bet that it was just some crazy glitch. Me and my little sister both spawned with AR’s and pistols once in a flood game when we joined in the game just when it started changing host. It also showed everyone as a hostile, and we got teamkilled several times by other humans.
This has just happened to me, JiP’d a game and i had DMR + pistol, other spartans had Shotties and were marked as enemies as well as the flood who were also marked as enemies, a member of the flood killed me and i spawned as a spartan again, DMR and pistol to boot.
I actually have no idea how flood works caus i’ve never -Yoinked!- with it but that was my experience. If somebody confirms that it was a glitch i’ll perhaps post it in the relevant stickied thread.

I think it’s a problem/bug/glitch to do with JIP and Flood games. 343i are aware of it as I remember DavidJCobb posting about it in their Matchmaking Bug topic.
It’s happened to me once - I spawned in with an AR. It didn’t do me any good though

I thought 343 said they fixed that in the last TU…

Not in the slightest. But I find this to be an utter waste, as the issue has been resolved with this.
There is no need to continue, especially with a nonconstructive post. There are plenty of other posts for you to post your disappointment with Halo 4 in.

Ok good well I’ll just leave it at that I had no idea they fixed this. 343i does claim a lot of things after all. I like the game, its the makers of the game I don’t like. Always hush hush about everything and making changes when they feel like it. But of course this is only my opinion.
