Gunskill is really important in a competitive shooter and in the recent FPS games that are being released there is a lack of actual gunskill.
We don’t want all these gimmics like Personal Ordnance and Perks, we want simplicity and emphasize on gunplay. Gunplay is what makes a game great, fun, addicting and competitive, not the gimmics.
To make gunskill important in Halo 5 again the following needs to happen:
- Reduced Aim Assist
- Reduced bullet magnestism
- Simple Loadouts without perks and attachments
- No more Personal Ordnance
- No more Random Ordnance, only Static Ordnance
- Bring back De-Scoping

And if we’re talking about making the guns require more skill to use I’d like to see head shot damage multipliers for the automatics too.

I’ve been wanting that for some time now. It gives spray n pray a little more depth. It think it would make assault weapons even more fun to use.

I agree with this so much. I think 343 did a decent job with making automatics actual weapons in Halo 4, but this is what we really need to make them viable choices.
