I see some images of infinite and I seen 2 different types of magnum, what do you think?
I would love to have the variety. It would give the game more replayability in some sort of way, and will make me stop playing the game much later.

Devs already said that the one we see here is the same as the one from last year but with a new model to make it look more Halo like than just a simple sidearm like before.

They would like the idea of using special weapons like the ones in War Zone during the infinite campaign.

Do you only want a handful of weapons that get stale only hours into playing - or a huge suite of weapons that makes finding your favorites take a while?

Are you talking about the different silhouette for the sidekick in the UI we saw in the most recent screenshots? If so that’s the same weapon we saw in the demo, they just redesigned it.

On my Custom Game Server I put in every weapon that is available in all of my maps! That is around 15 weapons that is in each base that you can choose from. Most respond times on the weapons are set to 30 seconds. You name it its in my maps! ( Halo MCC PC ). Would love to get the Custom Game Browser ASAP! I hope Halo Infinite has a CGB!

Quality over quantity man
I agree, there needs to be some variety. Burst fire vs full auto vs semi automatic. Energy vs munition. But let’s not go overboard. It’s far too hard to balance 50 guns, and makes gameplay a drag. Besides, i’m just using the sidekick 90% of the game

What if all 70 weapons are quality?
It would be as simple as importing each legacy weapon using their stats from the previous games to make them balanced - who cares if I have the Ravager & the Assault Rifle from HALO: Combat Evolved equipped…I’m having fun and that is what matters the most:metal:t2:
Even in Multiplayer, it’s player skill that triumphs - not weapon stats. The Spartan Laser is OP, but it requires a high level of skill to use.
I don’t want a truncated weapon list simply because “Too many weapons are similar”. I like the HALO: Combat Evolved & HALO 3 Assault Rifles better than the HALO Reach version/aesthetic we’ve been shown in HALO INFINITE so far - variety is always a good thing💯
