Do you all think the amount of ammo you and the gun can carry should be increased I do or at least have to mode one where you carry less and two where you can carry more many they could call the second mode CE mode all weapons carry just as much ammo as they did in Halo Combat Evolved z
I don’t know what the would do for the Promethean weapons sense they were not in the first 3 Halo games

Ammo capacity should absolutely be increased across the board. Having less ammo doesn’t actually make the game more difficult in any meaningful way, all it does is force you to use whatever the most common weapon type is for that particular level. Halo 5 in particular is a joke as far as starting weapons go as the ammo you have lasts for maybe an encounter or two even if you don’t waste ammo. The speed at which you can go through battery based weapon in Halo 4 and 5 makes it look like the Covenant power their weapons with half filled AAA’s its ridiculous.
A CE level ammo capacity would not make things any easier, it just means players get to make actual choices about what weapons they want to use rather than simply using whatever they can find ammo for. It also means that when you do find more powerful weapons like rockets you actually get to enjoy using them for awhile. More ammo also means you need fewer contrivances to resupply players.
Compare the sparing instances where you find dead Marines in CE in something like Assault on the Control Room and compare that to how in the Delta Halo missions in H2 you have weapon pods plastered all across the levels.
If your concern is multiplayer, again picking up “normal” weapons should be about changing your playstyle rather than just picking up whatever is near by due to a lack of ammo. Even power weapons should not be an issue as the whole point is to be using them to get ahead, a player who has them but isn’t using them is wasting opportunities and only increasing the likelihood that they will lose that full power weapon to the enemy.
All that aside, I don’t think “power weapons” should be so superior to “normal” weapons that they can’t be overcome. On some maps in CE, snipers would spawns on 30s timers which is unimaginable in basically any other Halo games. If simply having the possibility to carry more ammo is a problem for a particular power weapon is that much a problem that says more about the balance of said power weapon than it does about ammo capacity.

In Campaign: We should absolutely have CE amount of ammo capacity
In Multiplayer: Also yes.

But, the answer is that I don’t know but I do know that the principle remains that a truly great player should be able to be affective with any weapon.
That is the real loss from halo 2 to 5. I used to BR teams and I was so good that I’d run out of ammo and when they got to me - - I was duel welding smgs feathering the recoil and beating down. They always got me eventually but sometimes I would load back up my BR and get back to 4 shottin. im nostalgic thinkin about those moments.
I hope infinite gives me back some tactical prowess…
