Gungoose Nades

Alright, so I have noticed that a very effective way of defending your Core is by placing a Gungoose inside and using infinite grenades. I normally get lots of Cluster Lucks because of players who rush in with their Fuel Rod Guns.

That is, when I’m not constantly putting up with noobs (normally the one who’s at the bottom of the roster) who think it’s a good idea to drive my Gungoose straight into the enemy lines and immediately get destroyed. And when they’re not wasting my REQs, they’re ramming the side of the vehicle trying to flip me over. Seriously. What’s their deal? Are the grenade explosions messing up their concentration? I never see people mess with Scorpion, Ghost, or Warthog drivers who are defending. Why can’t people just learn to bug off and let me get grenade kills in peace?

That is a good strategy I used to use when Halo 5 was fairly new but 2 big problems.

  1. Players above average can easily kill you mostly by the side which when I used to play I would always go at the sides. Set up a nice spawntrapping by myself for a bit for at least killing spree+ then going in the core room. all done in wz assault

  2. Teammates will always drive you to your death which I know you explained but its such a big problem it’s not even worth to pull out a gungoose req now a days.

True. A charged Plasma Caster or a Fuel Rod can kill you if you’re positioned too close to the wall. There is a sweet spot where you cannot be shot from outside.

What I would love to see one day with my fellow clanmates is we all have Gungooses with Wheelman pilots and Grenadier passengers, spamming grenades to all five core room entrances. I would love to see how opponents would find a way around it.

There should be an entire game mode like this

It exists. I don’t know how to post lazy links.

You gotta be at least marine rank to post lazy links. And that’s neat, but I mean it should be an official mode, in Action Sack or something

L-l-l-l-lazy link.

No! Don’t say that! I need mongoose kills!

(Eyyy I remember playing Warzone with you on Friday!)
But yeah, it still works if you’re lucky. The perfect combo is two Gungooses with four people (two drivers to keep them in place, two naders to spam the two halls), but that never happens. Either you get driven to your death or you get nailed with an Answer or FRG

Noobs are called noobs for a reason. When they can’t get kills they get you killed!

I’m surprised no one has complained about how the grenade explosions push them around if they’re standing where I’m lobbing.

I always take care as to where I toss my grenades. If there is an entrance that no one is defending, I will spam my grenades there.

It all began long ago, the first time one new player ran up and drove away in another player’s gungoose in the core, driving him away to certain death.

In response, the veteran player (that was adverse to swearing into his mic) yelled “NOOOOOOOOOO! BS!” And the term was born.

Huehue that gave me a good laugh.
