Just saying, the Gungoose is another one of my favorite additions to the series in Halo 5. I love tooling around in my 'goose, nading people and driving away. I’ve gotten pretty good at it if I do say so myself. A passenger with a Needler can also wreck the enemy team, particularly if they are good at tossing the unlimited grenades and especially in Warzone. At the same time, you are so vulnerable on it which means it is still pretty balanced

My initial old man reaction was to hate and fear it, but there is something so satisfying about the tha-thunk you hear before another spartan goes flying through the air.

Love the Gungoose!
Besides the joy of tearing around and blowing up enemies they are great for taking over neglected armories.
After hopefully taking out the marines and the odd spartan, head back down the ramp but stop halfway and hold reverse, wheel spinning against the corner wall behind you and pivoting from side to side you can cover all angles with your guns till you capture the base.
Does anyone have any tips on using the ONI gungoose? I find it’s shorter range and the bouncing bombs hard to use properly.
Also how do you do the unlimited nades as a passenger?

Can’t help with the ONI gungoose, but as for unlimited nades, you don’t need to do anything. You just have unlimited nades as long as you are riding on the back.

I have so many Oni Gun-gooses stored in my Req packs I’m almost over 100. I haven’t used them but I only Save Oni ones. I will eventually.

I didn’t realise it was that simple. I’ve seldom been a passenger and when I have, I haven’t been very effective. Guess having a big gun at the time would help, like a saw, rocket launcher or fuel rod.

It’s so much fun to toss infinite grenades! Me and my friend used them to get past some Prometheans in legendary campaign. It was great!

Actually, my most effective lives as a Gungoose passenger have been when I was using a Needler. One time in particular, my driver ran us right through an enemy base on Warzone and between us we probably got like 15 kills before they took me out and he ran away, most of them mine. The homing on the Needles and chucking the unlimited Nades made me a terror. It seems to me that the trick is to treat the Nades as your primary weapon. I bet Boltshot and Suppressor are probably pretty decent too, you want something with homing to help drop the shields while the Nades do most of the killing. Skip the big guns, focus on homing stuff and hope your driver is good and aware enough to keep you from getting sniped
