For full disclosure I rarely ever play BTB. However I found that a lot of maps have mongoose, wouldn’t this be better with a gungoose?
I think it is safe to say that nothing is better with a gungoose.

Unless you are a young hotshot pilot named Maverick and you need Goose to use the guns to take out those MIGs

I don’t do this often, but i’m going to have to go ahead and say your opinion is wrong.

The great thing about opinions is that they are a matter of preference and cannot be right or wrong. My opinion accounts for facts such as vehicle speed, hitbox, and time in between bullets in the BR burst but is not definitive by nature of opinions.

But then what will people do if they want to honk the horn?

Opinions can’t be wrong; they’re opinions. Personal takes on individual things. They can not be distributed as fact, but they can’t be wrong to personal takes.
Arguably, the Gungoose and the Mongoose are both horrible vehicles for large scale engagements unless you have a backpack buddy with a blast radius power weapon (ex: Rocket Launcher). They offer little to no protection, their firepower is questionable (the GrenadeGoose is terrible in my opinion. Too little damage, too bad of an arch, too long of a reload. Great against Spartans charging headfirst into you, bad for literally everything else.), and you’ll spend more time dead if you keep picking the Gun/Mongoose.
If you believe they are good vehicles, by all means, I won’t stop you from believing such or using them. But you won’t find me charging into a fight on one. In fact, the only time you’ll see me on one is just for a quick mode of transport across the battlefield (and that’s hoping I don’t die before getting to point B).

The opinion thing was a joke. Obviously you can dislike the Mongoose if you want. I really do think its a fun vehicle that can be useful if you’re good with it though. It’s actually fairly easy to beat a couple of the lower tier ghosts with it in a 1v1.
I wish all the mongooses on all the BTB maps were switched over to gungooses. I don’t really see any harm in it since most people wouldn’t even consider getting in it.
3 for 1 Overkill
I do not think the gun goose is a horrible vehicle and get a ton of kills with it in war zone. Its by far more useful than the mongoose and I believe it would get more use in BTB matches. Simple to switch mongoose for gun goose and I would love it if they did.

Ah, sorry, hard to tell through text lol. I personally still don’t care much for them, but to each their own I suppose.
There used to be more gungooses. Anyone remember Basin?
I think 343 took them out cause they gave too much power to a single person. Something about balance for BTB I guess
The Gungoose is hard to balance. It is too effective on larger maps against infantry and too ineffective and clunky on smaller maps. The Mongoose exists on BTB maps for objectives, but they are left on Slayer game modes for an option to get somewhere faster.
