The grenade quantity indicator on the passengers HUD changes to an infinite sign when they hop on.
To me, this says intentional.
A passenger spamming Nades at the bottom level of an armory helps a lot with a capture too.
Yeah, it’s intentional. And, if I recall, it’s only with the higher-than-base gungooses. Who cares? Well, this game has enough grenade spam. You can sit your gungoose in the garage, or armory, or fortress or whatever and just sit there throwing unlimited grenades.

because the gungoose uses grenade launchers. duh.

Because it has an “infinity” symbol on the ammo count.
It’s not as effective as you guys might think…the grenades arc is all weird from the back of the mongoose and trying to use them on the move is pretty much impossible. Now for bombarding a chokepoint yeah it’s pretty effective.
