A buddy of mine was in a game last night and he claims someone in the lobby had 343 guilty spark for an emblem. Is this the new emblem 343 uses to distinguish themselves or is this something else? Or did he make the whole thing up for some reason?

I’ve seen it, and a couple different bullets as emblems. Not sure how they got them.

However, I have no idea how to get it.
Is it possible that it is commendation based? And if so what commendation would it be?
I have the bullets mentioned. I got them in the koth game I had on my phone. That may be the only way to get them. 343 I have not yet seen.

This is what I was thinking as I have heard that 343 did state they will have things no one else will.

Did your friend actually have that emblem? if so, ask him how he got it. If he does not tell you, then he hacked and got it.
No he did not he claimed he saw someone with it in matchmaking, I did not figure he lied as this is a trustworthy person who would not make something like this up. It may have been possible the person he saw hacked or it could be unlocked through a commendation. I have unlocked a few I was not sure what commendation they went to until I was making the list for the chart.
Hmmm…maybe to unlock these emblems, you have do a secret thing. What I am trying to say is that maybe you to get like exactly 24 kills and 16 deaths. That is another possibility.

This is a possibility as there are now Three I cannot even guess at what you must do for them.

They are not many easter eggs found in halo 4 but I am pretty sure about your theory. Yet, guilty spark has been killed so there must be some ViDOC on him somewhere in the game.
I have the Prima Collector’s Guide and it lists all the ones you’re supposed to be able to get. It’s not in there so I’m guessing it might be 343 employees only?
EDIT: The guide has a few missing actually.

Or an easter egg with a picture of him, ect. it could also be in an unreleased episode of spartan ops
