I did this in notepad, so excuse my lack of formatting. After watching a couple videos made by Angry Joe (whom I respect, and enjoy watching), I got a little upset with the information he was giving out saying it would take 680 hours to unlock all the permanent items in the REQ system. I knew this was wrong, and set out to prove it. This takes into account all permanent items - Helmets, Armors, Visors, Emblems, Stances, Assassinations, Skins, ARs, BRs, DMRs, SMGs, Armor Mods, Weapon Certs, Vehicle Certs, and Power-up Certs. Here are the list of items, broken down by their type and rarity.

Bronze packs can contain Common permanent cards, and in my experience I get a permanent unlock in every other pack on average.
Silver packs contain anything from Common to Rare permanent cards, and guarantee you 2 permanent unlocks per pack.
Gold packs contain anything from Uncommon to Legendary permanent cards, and guarantee you 2 permanent unlocks per pack.
That being said, here’s a little math (with some wording for comprehension…)
128 common items (you could actually just get all these in the rare packs as well, but just keeping this bronze to make the bronze packs feel better about themselves. Plus there’s a chance that you can get permanent items more often than every 2 packs, thus saving you REQ points)
128 common items x 1250 REQ points x 2 (saying you get 1 common permanent item in every other bronze pack on average) = 320,000 REQ points
161 uncommon items and 286 rare items
((286 rare items + 161 uncommon items) x 5000 REQ points) / 2 (2 permanent unlocks per silver pack) = 1,117,500 REQ points
186 ultra-rare items and 137 legendary items
((137 legendary items + 186 ultra-rare items) x 10000 REQ points) / 2 (2 permanent unlocks per gold pack) = 1,615,000 REQ points
Total REQ points needed:
320,000 + 1,117,500 + 1,615,000 = 3,052,500 REQ points
You earn about 6,000 REQ points per hour (Warzone):
3,052,500 / 6,000 = 508.75 hours to unlock everything in the game, or 21.2 days.
That’s 171.25 hours less than what Angry Joe stated, and unfortunately, everything he says gets embedded in the brains of millions of YouTube viewers. If people took the time to research things for themselves, and make up their own minds, there would be less verbal diarrhea on the internet.
TLDR Edit:
If you are going for unlocking every single thing in the game, I would stick to bronze and silver first…before opening gold. You will get all of the lower tiered items for a cheaper price. If you buy a Gold pack, and get two uncommon or rare items, you basically screwed yourself out of 5,000 REQ points. You can get 2 Silver packs instead of 1 Gold pack, and you’re guaranteed 2 common to rare items in each Silver pack.
I would also stick to Silver/Bronze packs at first, that way when you want to save up for a Gold pack (and hope to get something Legendary or Ultra-Rare) you have a better chance of getting something worth 10,000 REQ points.
Thanks for reading.
