Guests Should Inherit Primary Account Loadout

So currently whenever you sign a guest in all their loadouts are empty, and therefore you have to make new classes every time you sign a guest in, which is a inconvenience.

If possible, could it be changed to the “Black Ops” system, where they inherit your loadouts, simple system that would save a lot of time.

Thanks.

100% agree.

And for the record, for custom games, all loadout options should be available. When you have guests coming over they shouldn’t be penalized by not having the same options available as you when doing LAN custom games.

That’s just BS.

Sigh.

More polish necessary.

I for one think guests shouldn’t be allowed… Instead of changing the system to reward guests, they should keep this system to reward people that pay for an account.

Custom games s a different story.

didnt even know this problem existed , but i agree

“I for one think guests shouldn’t be allowed”.

Awful idea. Some people can’t justify Gold, say, if you’ve got friends who play games at your house though they don’t pay for LIVE?

I have friends that live in my house that play. They have live… I honestly don’t see why people who don’t pay to play should get the same benefits.

What about people that don’t live in your house and don’t have an Xbox, though you like playing with them.

Got any of those?

Agreed.

Ideally you should be able to save your guest profile’s settings and customization. But there will probably be restrictions on that.
However, I play a lot with friends on guest accounts. Now, everytime we need to set up everything. That’s annoying. Not to mention my friends don’t always know what every upgrade does, so it takes really long for them to decide what to choose.

And if they forgot…they’re screwed.
My primary loadout is a really robust all round one (DMR and AR, invis, extra ammo and frags) and would be perfectly fine for any of my guests.
So it would be a lot easier if they would just also got that one by default.

None of them want to play Xbox otherwise they would have one…

I’m actually kind of surprised at the negative comments/no votes, considering this is pretty much a copy and paste job, we’re talking about a 1-5 minute job at most(assuming there are no lazy devs, likely a 1 minute job).

Indeed. Ive a number of friends who dont have xbox’s as they have gaming PC’s or PS3’s. We like to get together and play games on various systems. If he expects me to buy multiple gold accounts just to let a few mates play Halo 4, he is off his rocker.

Its a good job nobody at MS pays attention to these kinds of people.

The no votes are from people who either have severe entitlement issues or dont understand the poll.

I understand, and I concur. Guests should inherit loadouts.

No Loadouts for the Guest is a must since its a temporary profile but I just recently learned myself since im slow that guest profiles have the same unlock armor varients as your account does which is weird unless this is some sort of glitch that was not supposed to happen. haLo Reach and haLo 3 did not have that option for guest players

I got no issue with guests but when a player has a guest or two tehy should be limited to the playlists they can play. FFA shouldnt allow guests or parties due to boosting. I dont know how the voting works when you hav a guest but it was really frustrating in Reach when one account with two guests would change their vote over and over and over. Having one account with 3 votes wasnt something i was a fan of. As for customs have at it. BUt for online play guests can really ruin it. If one guy quits all three leave, thats a big hole to fill. I think it be best that guests be limited to one.

Guests can load all the same data from the xbox that the main profile can, the main difference is that guests are incapable of saving any data to the xbox.

Since guests already get the same items as the main account(which I’m pretty sure is stored on waypoint servers), it’s only logical that they should be able to load the local data that’s on the xbox(loadouts), it just needs to be added for them.(exact same thing as the main profile does, but a slightly different tag).

I wholeheartedly agree.

What’s worse is that if the main account has all 5 loudout slots unlocked, they seem to override the preset loadouts meaning the guest has 5 [AR/Magnum/Frags/nothing else] loadouts and only one or two other choices.

Yes, but don’t expect 343 to get the small stuff right. God forbid they pay attention to the details. They have important matters like taking back DLC on their hands.

I 100% agree. I often have friends over for beers and xbox. Its frustrating watching them TRY to make a loudout. URRRGHHHH. Please give them preset loadouts.

I actually tried to get soem attention on this when h4 first came out but nobody noticed. D:

Please do all u can to make this happen.

I won’t let this die, since this is a much needed feature that can be easily implemented, hopefully someone from 343 will see it, and we’ll get it.

If we were back in the core, REAL Halo CE, 2, and 3 game play, and didn’t even have this loadout/ aa/ perk junk going on this wouldn’t even be a problem.

With that said, that’s crazy 343 did not already think about this before launch!
