Hi I’ve not played Reach in some time but I friend bought it the other day so me and my fiancee decided to do some firefight games with him.
Only one of us currently has a gold account so we signed in the other play as a guest.
I as under the impression that guests were able to talk using a headset in Reach but we just can’t get it to work.
Can anyone help me out?
I don’t believe they can actually. I’m not 100% on this(long time ago i tried) but its either the guest cannot talk at all or they can have a mic but the gamer profile who’s making the guest cant.
I think it’s something like that, I know its a nightmare to do anything voice with a guest account. lol
You can use the kinect but you can’t be in a party with two people it shuts off the mic in it. I wany Microsft to update this so I can have two people in a party because when I got my Xbox the mic was in two pieces.
Guests can’t have headsets nor can the join partys. If you use kinect then the people on the other end can hear both of you (Though I hate it when someone in the group uses kinect as you can usually hear the TV too and sometimes yourself) Otherwise you can share the one headset. no alternative to this i’m afraid.
