Hello all Waypoint members. Shall we play a guessing game? I would like you to take a guess at the Halo 5 release Date. A prize will be given to the winner. It might be very early for speculation, however E3 is comming soon so there is room. The prize has not been chosen yet, and will be an XBL DLC code determined by the level of participation. The person with the closest guess will be determined to be the winner.
The complete game parameters may be modified to promote fairness, and prevent cheating.
No Post editing. I will compiling entries frequently for reference. When your guess is documented it is final.
If you live in the united states a guess of June 8th 2015 could appear as 6/8/2015
Outside you the US the same guess would appear as 8/6/2015. So if you live outside the US please specify.
Likewise if you live in the US and your guess is August 6 2015 then it would appear as 8/6/2015
Ouside the US would appear as 6/8/2015
Simply spelling the month may be less confusing
All valid entries must provide a month, day, and year for consideration.
General or incomplete entries will be disqualified.
Remember this game is purely for fun, and bragging rights for the winner. All entries should be made in this spirit. Halo 4 by no means has finished it’s job entertaining us all. As true Halo fans we will enjoy speculating where the franchise is going, and when! 
Additional prize donations for 1st,2nd, and 3rd place will be accepted when this contest is closer to completion.
In light of recent news one potentiel prize choice is McFarlane Series 2 Unlockables If this should become the case only the DLC code would be provided not the figure.

How about we not have a contest of guessing Halo 5’s release date until after Halo 5 is actually announced, and teased, IE a year or so down the road.
I think it’s gonna release November 2015.
Fall 2014 or 2015 (depending on when the xbox one is released.
September or November 2015 at the earliest, or September or November 2016 at the latest.
I’m not expecting a Halo game this year or even the next.

Yeah, I agree with some of the guys up top here. It’s way too early to start guessing the release date for Halo 5 and all that crap. They don’t need to rush things. People here need to stop posting Halo 5 threads until they actually show something at E3 whatever year they show it.

I really think that 343 has been working on Halo 5 for much longer than any of us think. I know the original series were spaced out by 3 years but I really think we’ll see Halo 5 sooner than later and I don’t think it’ll be a bad thing. 343(mainly Frankie) has talked a ton about knowing where the series is heading. We already knew Halo 5 would be darker far before Halo 4 even launched. Don’t be surprised if we get knowledge dropped on us sooner than later.

The closest guess will win, and the prize will be the same.
November the 30th 2013 is my guess for the next halo.
